House Tour-Living Room

Our kitchen opens up to the living room to make one big room off the back of the house. Before we renovated, our living room was a bedroom and a bathroom. We knocked out walls at the back of the house to make it more open and spacious. Here is the before:

And here are the after pictures:

You may or may not have noticed the double doors in the living room; that is our laundry room. It's really more of a laundry closet, but we wanted to make use of the existing plumbing. What used to be a bathroom is now our laundry room.

The Details:
  • Paint Color- Collingwood Benjamin Moore
  •  Couch and Chairs-My mother-in-law had these in storage and let us have them to recover for our living room. How awesome is she?!!
  • Pillows-The pillows on the chairs were made by Tony's Fabric here in Greenville and the chevron pillows are from Home Goods
  • Ottoman-We got it from Target several years ago, but have recovered it since we got it.
  • Side Table-This is from Value City Furniture in Columbia. It was originally black, but we painted it white to match the other furniture.
  • Lamp-I got this lamp from Home Goods a few years ago.
  • Chest below TV-from Carolina Imports in Columbia.
  • Mirror-The mirror is from Home Goods. It was originally gold, but we painted it white to match the other furniture. At our old house, this mirror was in Eliza's nursery.
  • Teal and White Frame-Homemade by Ryan and I (mostly Ryan) :)
  • Bamboo Blinds- We ordered these from Overstock and they can be found here
  • Curtains-Made by a seamstress here in Greenville.
*If you live in or around Greenville and you're looking for a contractor, my handsome hubby built and designed our entire house. Check out his website at Greenwise Design and Construction
