House Tour-Home Office

Hi friends!  I haven't shared any house photos in a while, so I thought is was time for another update. But before I do that, I want to post a little disclaimer along with all these house pictures. Over the past few weeks, it has become very clear to me just how unimportant all the house and decorating stuff is. I like posting them on the blog because it's a way for me to keep track of the progress of the house and the changes we've made to it, but I also understand what little value all it has. As I was looking back over my last few posts, I realized that I never really made that clear, and I wanted to do that now before I posted any more updates.

"For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands." (2 Corinthians 5:1) 

Thanks for putting up with my little rant, but I just felt it was important to share! Now, on to our home office. I don't have any before photos because this room didn't exist before we moved in. We wanted an area to keep track of important documents, bills, ect., so we decided to knock out a space in the upstairs hallway for this. To be completely honest, we really don't use this room as much I thought we would, but it's still nice to have it there so we can keep all our paperwork organized.

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year

Hi friends! I didn't mean to take such a long blog break, but some things came up and the blog got put on the back burner. I just wanted to share a few a ton of pictures from our Christmas. We did absolutely nothing for New Year's Eve, so I have no exciting pictures to share from then, but I hope you all had a wonderful one. It's back to reality for me tomorrow, and I'm so not ready to go back to school. There's a chance it might snow tonight, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for one more day off. :)
