Christmas Tour of Homes

Hey friends! I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend! Today I'm linking up with The Nester for a holiday tour of homes. I just love the way our house feels and smells at Christmastime, and I'm always a little sad at the end of each year when I have to pack everything up. For now, we're really enjoying our holiday decor, and I hope you all do too! Come on in.

Five on Friday-Christmas Edition

I'm back again! It's Friday and I only have one more week of school until I'm out of school for two weeks of freedom! I can't wait! Just wanted to pop in and share a few of my favorite Christmas items. Some of these I have, and some I've just seen on Pinterest and other blogs.

Favorite Christmas Finds
{ONE}
 I love these two rustic Christmas decorations. I think they're so pretty and classic. The tree is from Target and the wreath is from Nordstrom.
{TWO}
I don't own this shirt, but think it's hilarious. Home Alone is one of the all time greatest Christmas movies.
{THREE}
Did any of you see Kelly Clarkson's Christmas special on TV the other night? While I thought it was a little cheesy, the music was great. She has a great voice and I really enjoyed her version of some great Christmas songs.
{FOUR}
I do have this Nest candle, and it's awesome. It makes our entire house smell good!
{FIVE}
I haven't gotten Eliza any Christmas pajamas this year, and not to sound like a Scrooge, but at this point, I probably won't. Although, I did think these Hanna Andersson ones were adorable. I've seen them all over, and they look really cute monogrammed.

Deck the Halls

Hey there! As promised, I'm back with a very Christmasy post. Last year we were overachievers and went to a Christmas tree farm to get our tree. However, aint nobody got time for that this year, so we just went to a parking lot down the road and bought our tree there. It was just as fun and a lot cheaper. Eliza loved decorating our tree and she kept looking at and saying "How pretty!" and "How sparkly!"

Even Belle wanted to get in on the Christmas action. Poor thing.

Edisto

Hi friends! I hope y'all are doing well and getting in the Christmas spirit! This post is actually totally unrelated to Christmas, but I promise I will be back soon with lots of Christmas tree hunting pictures, tales of Santa visits, and gift guides, but for now I'll share a few pictures from a recent beach trip. Several weekends ago we went down to Edisto to spend the weekend with some friends. I love being at the beach in the fall. It's not crowded, the weather is beautiful, and it's so peaceful. Thanks for having us Owen and Caitlin!

Our Thanksgiving

I had every intention of writing a great Thanksgiving themed post where I listed all the things that I'm thankful for this year, but then I got the stomach bug two days before Thanksgiving and those plans never happened. I don't know if you've ever gotten sick on Thanksgiving before, but let me tell you, it is not fun. When you have no appetite on a holiday that is all about eating, it really stinks. I was feeling a little better by the time Thanksgiving actually got here, so I was able to rally and get some pretty good pictures. We did two Thanksgiving dinners, like we do every year. One was at my uncle's house with my dad's side of the family, and the other was at our house with both my family and Ryan's. I hope y'all had a good Thanksgiving! We're off to decorate for Christmas now!

Even though this Saturday's game didn't turn out the way we wanted it to, we still love our Tigers!
