Christmas Craft

We have been getting a lot of Christmas cards in the mail this week, and our refrigerator is already full of pictures of Eliza, so I needed to find another place to display them this year. I got this idea from Pinterest, and decided to give it a try.

All you need is a pack of clothes pins, a wire hanger, red pony beads, green spray paint, ribbon, wire cutters or pliers, and an old box.

First, clip all of the clothespins around the box.

Then, spray paint them and let them dry for a few hours.

Next, unwind the clothes hanger and form it in to circle. Alternate a bead and a clothespin around the wire. Once your circle is complete, twist the wire back together.

Finally, cut the ribbon, make a pretty bow, and tie it around the wire.

The last thing you'll need to do it add your Christmas cards!

Christmas Funny

This makes me laugh.

And so does this. It's kind of mean, but really funny.

Clearly, it doesn't take much to amuse me.

All I Want For Christmas Is Shoe

I started to write a post about about my Christmas wish list, and then I realized that more than half of my list consisted of shoes. The only pair of shoes on this list that I actually need are the Danskos. I have been wearing the same pair of Danskos since I was in high school! The others are just pretty and fun to dream about!

Here's another thing on my wish list that I wouldn't send this back if it showed up under my tree.

ACC Champs

This weekend Ryan and I spent our first night away from Eliza. On Saturday night we went to Charlotte to watch Clemson play in the ACC Championship. While I was really sad to leave Eliza, we had a great time, and I knew she would be in good hands with my mom. What an awesome game! Standing in the cold for more than three hours was totally worth it. Although I'm paying for it now because I've still got a sinus infection that's been dragging on since last week. Hopefully I'll be feeling better by this weekend!

Orange Bowl bound!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

We finally got around to getting our Christmas tree last week. Eliza picked out the perfect tree for her first Christmas.

Eliza and Ryan before getting the tree
All bundled up and ready to go!
Dad and Eliza at the tree lot
Mom and Eliza at the tree lot
The whole family
YaYa came too
Watching Daddy set up the tree

He got distracted by the TV.

Belle creepin around the tree
Back to work
Getting sleepy
All the decorations are up!

I think our trip to the tree lot was a success! I was especially proud when the man selling Christmas trees came up to me and said "I like the way you got that baby dressed." Eliza will definitely be rocking her Santa suit again!

Our decorations are up and I ordered our Christmas cards today. Now I have to start on my Christmas shopping. I haven't bought any presents yet! I better get busy!

2 Months

Eliza had her two month appointment on Wednesday. I wish time would slow down! She is growing everyday. The other day I told my mom that I think she grew when I put her down for a nap. I heard people say this about their children when I was pregnant, and I didn't understand it, but I never knew I could love someone the way I love her!
